(More customer reviews)OK, not much you can say about a cable, unless you get one that is bad or "flakey" from a problem with the shield, as we read from a previous posting.
I recently upgraded my HDTV system and now have a HDTV, Blue-ray, and Receiver that supports the HDMI 1.3 spec. This spec enables new high bandwidth features previously not supported in older HDMI cables and equipment. Both the Blue-ray and the HDTV, and my Roku-Netflix box are firmware upgradeable, so this cable should support their enhancements for at least a couple of years.
Being the quintessential anal-retentive Electrical Engineer, I tend to over analyze everything (even if not required). When buying cables (typically, the weak link in most systems), you have to determine if the product is manufactured from a reputable vendor, or built by a couple of guys in their garage, with no quality control. Mediabridge Products is a subsidiary of Broadband Products, Inc. Broadband Products has HDMI certification (see hdmi.org for why this is important).
There are two types of HDMI cable, Standard (Category 1) and High Speed (Category 2), and they have different performance metrics. A Standard cable can transmit a 1080i signal for 15 meters (49 feet) or more, while a High Speed HDMI cable can transmit a 1080p signal for at least 7.5 meters (25 feet). For the most part, running cables less than 5 meters, either will work, but I want to make sure and this cable is Category 2.
Why did I buy this specific cable from this vendor: The vendor has an almost perfect feedback record, the product is low cost for the specs, fulfilled by Amazon, and importantly free shipping, and a return policy that pays the shipping for returns/exchanges of defects.

(More customer reviews)I bought these glasses by the end of Febuary had the chance to test them by the end of April. I needed an extra pair of glasses that were affordable and compatible with my NVIDA 3D Vision that I set up on my PC coupled with an Acer H5360 projector . These glasses are very good. They work fine and I can say sync better to the Nvidia emitter than the actual Nvidia glasses that I have: While watching 3D content on the projector the Nvidia glasses lose sync VERY often and the right eye of the glasses flashes a lot(blink) Which is a bit annoying. This problem does not appear with the 3DTV Glasses. My wife uses 3dTV pair while I use the Nivia's.
(Note: I've noticed that the problem I described earlier with the Nvidia glasses only happens when I view content using the Projector and not on the Samsung 3d ready monitor that I have.)
- The only complain I will have for 3dTV glasses model NV1 is that in the description of the product it does say that the glasses come with extra pair(s) of nose clip but my box came without and I don't see any place where the clips could be fix on the glasses. So I would just say that they don't use nose clips. and it will be good if the seller take out this information in order not to have many costumers miss lead or complaining about this minimum detail.
- One other thing one should be aware of is that these glasses DOES NOT USE regargeable batteries, so once a while one will have to replace them(the batteries).
Overall the glasses are great and I'm planning to acquire extra pairs of them.

Sony BDP-S770 3D Blu-ray Disc Player with Wi-Fi Review

(More customer reviews)I've only had this player for about a week or so, but it has exceeded my expectations. I was a little skeptical to buy it from the SonyStyle website before I could read any user reviews or see the rating on Cnet, let alone find it anywhere else for sale. However, it was worth the risk. Here are a few things that stand out:
1) blu-ray content looks amazing
2) looks good, is easy to use (remote and exterior controls)
3) amazing built-in capabilities: built in Wifi is smooth, Netflix, Pandora, and the amazing Berlin Phil Digital Music Hall
4) Set-up of wifi is very easy...you are guided right through
After one week, I have zero complaints and give it the highest recommendation.
ps--I don't even use the 3D capability and don't care, so I can't comment on that

We only used them one time so far and I really think it was the movie that was not a newer movie so therefore the glasses did not work that well. We are hoping to view an updated movie with the glasses. The glasses fit well and are comfortable wearing them.

Unit was really easy to install and configure, and works like a dream out of the box. Everyone at home loves using it. Great value, and AMD performance does not seem to be any inferior to Pentium on this one.
Small glitch with the system just a week ago, system just refused to boot up and had to call tech support, they quickly determined that it was due to static electricity and MS Windows. Unplugged and plugged the power supply, rebooted, installed the new MS Service pack, and it has been working well since.
Would have given this 5 stars if not for this problem.
