I recently bought a projector to replace an aging 32" HDTV, but I needed a way to get the HDMI signal from my receiver to the projector across the room. I was worried from basic research I had done in the past that a wireless HD solution would either be awful or incredibly expensive, but I rolled the dice on this based on the overall positive reviews on Amazon. It works awesome!
Even though the target of the device seems to be for broadcasting from a laptop, I just hooked HDMI from my home theater receiver to the transmitter, then the brite-View receiver to the projector. It works flawlessly in 1080p with absolutely no noticeable lag. I know this because I play both first-person shooters and rhythm games, both of which require lag-free controller response and they've worked great. If you're looking at this product as a way to connect a distant video device with the rest of your setup, look no further. I can also attest that it doesn't cause any kind of wireless interference with an Xbox 360, Google TV, or PS3.
