samsung bd-c6800 blu-ray 3d player:
pros:
- beautiful design
- love that i can use my samsung tv remote to control the dvd player
- easy to set-up
- netflix streams beautifully
cons:
- can't play avatar 3d blu-ray disc! no date provided by samsung tech support to solve the problem. (samsung tech support is hit or miss, sometimes you get a knowledgeable tech, most others times you don't)
- takes too long to startup (communicate) to the samsung 3d (un46C7100) led tv.
- sketchy connectivity (wi-fi) with my nas drive to watch movies.
- takes forever for "bd-wise" to communicate with tv
- can't dim the player lights
- worthless trying to input characters... the remote does not have a flip out keyboard
i bought it as a package from costco. i will speak to a sup to see if i can return the dvd player but keep the tv... the tv is awesome :)
i will try a panasonic or sony 3d blu-ray player... and if i get to it, shall update this review.
good luck.
