(More customer reviews)I had a similar unit that had been working for about the past 8 months and working very well, powering four displays over several cable runs in the 45' range. The unit appeared to take a lightning hit a few weeks ago. When I tried to reorder one from the original supplier, I found they had stopped carrying it due to it not being a money maker for them. I found another unit online with similar specs. I ordered it and only then realized the vendor is in China. When the unit arrived, I connected it with the following results: one tv worked perfectly, one got a picture and lound audio static, one got a picture and no sound and the other, no sound or picture. I found another vendor for a unit with similar specs which happened to be only 17 miles from my house. I bought that unit there and it, unfortunately looked exactly like the replacement unit I had just unsuccessfully installed. Nonetheless, I took it home and tried it. Alas, it had the exact same symptoms on each of the same four tvs. So, I did a lot more searching hoping to find a unit pictured that looked significantly different from the problem units I had just tried. I found this one and took a chance and ordered it. It arrived yesterday, I connected it and, mercifully, it worked immediately and perfectly. So happy to have this one behind me. I may even order a spare for backup in case this should happen again.
