(More customer reviews)Another person wrote on the same cable (different length) that the housing was made of plastic...that it wasn't a brass housing as shown in the picture. He was wrong as far as the metal v. plastic statement was concerned. It is definitely metal...shiny metal (no biggie for me). It appears to be a well made housing. The cable itself is also well made. It is not too stiff and can twist (although it doesn't twist a ton since it is flat). The sheathing is also of great quality which will help protect the cable whenever I'm fiddling with things.
I highly recommend this cable.
