(More customer reviews)This is for the Green/Magenta acrylic glasses.
I bought these glasses to replace the cardboard glasses for Coraline, Journey to the Center of the Earth, and a couple other movies that use the Green/Magenta combo. These glasses feel like good quality, however the green lens is a bit lighter than the supplied cardboard glasses. If you put them up to light it is very easily seen that the green side is lighter than the cardboard glasses. The movies do work, but then you get more of red tint than anticipated. Also in Journey to the Center of the Earth, it seems that some 3D scenes really didn't work as well. Coraline was better with these glasses (but not better than the cardboard glasses). I ended up giving up trying to make them work (I tried messing with my RGB settings on the TV). Anyway I opted to buy the GemsTM Plastic 3D Glasses Variety Pack (2 Pairs of Magenta/Green) and (2 pairs of Red/Cyan). Those glasses work as well as the original cardboard ones and even a bit better since they have a bigger lens. The bad thing about those is that they are just paper lenses. The lenses are the same stuff as the cardboard glasses, but they are very comfortable and very light. I could notice wearing the cardboard glasses more than the Gems glasses. Probably because of the fit. I would just go with the Gems glasses instead. I'm sure anyone trying to replace their carboard ones with the acrylic ones will be dissappointed.
