(More customer reviews)My Sony VGN-SZ240 laptop is going on 6 years old, and everything was still working except the lithium batteries keep wearing out. The cost of a retail battery replacement just isn't worth sinking into a laptop this old, so I thought I would give this generic battery one try because of the reasonable price. I am glad I did, because it works great, I am writing this review several months after purchasing it, and it still provides a long life time off AC power. This is my 2nd generic lithium battery replacement, and if this brand of battery and company are still around in a couple more years, I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again. The battery is labeled exactly as the description was given for a AGPtek 8800mAh battery. I haven't kept any detailed time measurements, but I certainly don't remember my laptop running for as long off AC as it does with this battery. This is also the highest mAh rating for a battery I've used, so it must be close to specifications. This battery is bulky, by I won't dock any stars for that because it is a high mAh rating, and that is just how much room one needs for the lithium cells. I am so happy to breath hopefully another couple of years of use out of this great laptop.
