(More customer reviews)Struggled for a long time trying to find a laptop with an i-5 with a video card built in. It was between this one a Dell and a Toshiba. My Dell at work has always given me grief and my other Toshiba laptop looks cheesy with the fusion finish instead of the old metallic finish they used to use. Toshiba also has poor battery life on my previous two owned. So I ended up buying this one.

Pros:
1GB graphics memory.
Nice metallic finish.
3h Battery life.
ASUS Software automatically updates the BIOS for you, no need for a degree in programming or HTML. Nice.
LED screen is fantastic (1980 resolution, wow).
Blue ray built in for travelling with the kids.
Laptop runs cool and is fairly light compared to some others i've owned.

Cons:
No volume dial control.
No Back up discs.
Speakers are kind of big.
There is an inch around the laptop screen not used; they could have made the laptop smaller without giving up on screen size.
50 Updates to Windows 7, took forever even at high download speed.
Updated the optional Intel Graphics driver and got a blue screen of death, but the laptop recovered from it.
Power cord on the back (yuk) is prone to fall out.
