(More customer reviews)I didn't buy this from a store, or online. My brother brought his over and offered to sale it to me for a few extra bucks. I really didn't want to buy another player. I had bought so many in the past 2 years, trying to find one that could be made into a region free player to play my DVDs from Japan, United Kingdom and Germany. This player is able to be made region free (check videohelp.com for Philips DVP3962) in a few short seconds! I'm so happy now that I don't have to keep pulling out my portable player to play my non-region 1 DVDs!
