(More customer reviews)If you stumbled upon these like I did, no knowledge of said magazine, you are more than likely looking to upgrade factory bundled cables or a enthusiast that wants to find the better cable to interconnect the HD device to HD device.
I've gone thru a few (not necessarily just hdmi) cables, handed a few to family, a few to friends, or stored away some (mostly factory bundled cables) in a box in the attic
I liked these cables over the Monster MC 1000HD-2M Ultra-High Speed HDTV HDMI Cable (2 meters) that these replaced. I wish I could provide more information on these cables besides the thicker 24awg wire to the 26awg (maybe have to check if 28awg ) wire of the monster.the picture is awesome but that is subjective only as I have no test patterns to qualify these against, but then again while watching Star Trek(reboot) 1080p with the differences of filming; light of the Enterprise's CONN to dark environment of Nero's mining ship, in this case, the cables matched the performance of the 1000 HD's as far as picture and sound in HD.
Think of it this way, money saved could go to buy more blu rays.
