I just got these today and not only were they unable to clip onto my glasses, but the 3D lenses were too curved to fit over my flat prescription lenses. Avoid this item!

Panasonic SC-BTT770 5.1 Channel 3D Blu-ray Cinema Surround Home Entertainment System Review

Panasonic SC-BTT770 5.1 Channel 3D Blu-ray Cinema Surround Home Entertainment System

I bought this system to replace my older Panasonic Home Theater system that I bought in 2008. Some things I didn't like about the system was the remote control layout (it seems almost upside down), although the remote control did have some great perks like a dedicated Netflix button which I love, plus home, and Viera Cast buttons. These made it easy to jump straight to the home screen, or Internet content. I also have a Panasonic HDTV, and though it odd that this blu ray player's GUI didn't allow for adding custom titles to the two HDMI inputs like my TV does. You'll have to remember which is which, but at least you get two HDMI in, and an HDMI out which is a big plus. Perfect for PS3, or Xbox owners who want to take advantage of 5.1 surround without extra cables, or wires. You'll have to position the wireless rear speaker unit fairly close to the TV or the rear speakers will cut out. I was able to solve this by putting the wireless unit in a large empty space under my reclining sofa.
What I like about the unit is as mentioned some of the dedicated buttons on the remote for fast access to the home screen, or Internet content, or dedicated apps such as Netflix, and Skype. The Skype camera is sold separately, but is still a nice addition. I'm no guru, but In comparison to my older system the sound was great. The surround sound was clear, and unlike my older system I was able to adjust the speaker volume independently, which is a huge plus. My kids were amazed it really did sound like we were sitting in a movie theater, which is something my older system didn't quite accomplish.
Disc playback is good, and it will play a regular DVD. Switching between Live TV, game console, and receiver is easy and painless, but would be better if each HDMI had individual dedicated buttons on the remote. It may be possible to fix this using the extra color coded keys, but I haven't tried it.
I had Amazon Prime, so for an extra 4 bucks I got it in three days! I saved about $50 buying it from Amazon vs direct from Panasonic, plus some when you figure in the cost of shipping. All in all I love this system, even with a few quirks, and would absolutely recommend this to a friend.

Panasonic SC-XH150 5.1 Channel Cinema Surround Home Entertainment System Review

Panasonic SC-XH150 5.1 Channel Cinema Surround Home Entertainment System

I bought this dvd home theater for my little corner of the house. We already have an expensive Sony 5 disc home theater for the family room, so I bought this mainly because of the price.
I have it hooked up to a 42in LG Plasma tv, and with the HDMI hookup it upconverts the dvds nicely. They don't look blu-ray quality, but still they look better than normal.
The sound quality of the system is pretty good for a small room. I wouldn't suggest this system for a big basement or living room, but for what I bought it for it sounds great. The volume goes from 1-100 which is a little weird for me, I really only like it to go from 1-50, because I feel bad listening to it at 75.
I have a TOSLINK optical cable running from my tv to the system so I can use it to listen to the tv as well. I does a pretty good job with that. It also has a little tray that pops out for an ipod, but I only use my ipod for jogging, so I doubt that will ever get used.
Hooking up the system was pretty easy. Just hook up the hdmi and toslink cable to the tv and the back of the player and you're good to go. The speakers are all marked which they are and the ends of the wires are color coded to ensure you hook them up right, so they're pretty dummy proof.
The center speaker looks different than it does in the picture here on amazon. It's more of a rectangle than the others. The 2 side and back speakers are little squares just like in the picture. The subwoofer is a tad on the small side, but it serves its purpose well.
Overall I'd recommend this system for anyone looking for an inexpensive home theater for a smaller area.

(March 2011)
The SC-XH150 Home Theater System incorporates a wide variety of Panasonic technologies for high quality sound. The Clear Sound Digital Amplifier and Down Firing Subwoofer reproduce a clear, dynamic sound that wouldn't be expected from the compact size of the main unit and speakers.

I got this system in March after pre-ordering it. I have had previous good luck with Panasonic home theater systems so I waited buying an upgrade until this was released this year. And I'm glad I did. What a great product. I've had it for 2 weeks now and I'm really impressed with this system. I don't have a 3D television, I only use this system for Bluray discs. You do not have to own a 3D television to use this as a bluray system.
I've shopped around for other home theater systems for a long time. I've gone to many electronics stores, Fry's, Best Buy, Target, but I was not impressed with any of the other brands out there. Sony, Samsung, LG, I truly believe this Panasonic system beats them all in terms of quality, sound, picture, and features.
Likes:
Viera Cast: Built-in ready to go WiFi for streaming netflix, vudu, and many other services. This thing will also do Skype!
Down-firing subwoofer: Panasonic changed the subwoofer so it fires the bass into your floor, creating a theater-like boom and experience. And let me tell you, this subwoofer really rumbles my condo. The bass is deep, no distortion whatsoever even when I've cranked this system really loud. I'm really impressed with the design of the subwoofer. Whether you want to watch movies quietly or crank it up during an action-packed movie, the bass produced by this system is totally jaw-dropping.
Cinema Surround Sound - The cinema surround sound feature you can turn on really increases the surround effect of movies, making this 5.1 system sound like a 7.1 system. I recommend turning the rear surround speakers up, you can customize every speaker and how loud you want them to be. You can even increase the bass output. The surround sound produced is clear, crisp, sounds excellent, and during actions scenes you don't even realize that it's the superb surround experience making your heart pound, not the movie.
2 HDMI Inputs & Optical In: The SC-BTT370 allows you to connect your xbox or ps3 or whatever has an HDMI source directly to the unit, so you don't have a ton of fussing and forgetting which system is hooked directly to your TV and what setting you are supposed to be on. I have my xbox directly connected to the surround sound system and it works flawlessly.
Picture: The deep color and full 1080p picture renders beautifully. I am breathless when watching bluray movies on this system. The Netflix and VUDU streaming services are integrated nicely, and look stunning as well. I watched U-571 and Blawhawk Down last night, and I still couldn't believe how clear and beautiful the picture was.
3D Discs: I do not have a 3D television, and you do not need a 3D television to use this player. I have talked to many people who have bought this system, and they rave about the 3D capabilities and I believe it. They told me this play blows the PS3 out of the water in terms of 3D rendering and detail.
Dislikes: None

PowerDVD 10 Ultra 3D Review

PowerDVD 10 Ultra 3D
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I was not a fan of PDVD 9, it was IMO never out of Beta and not what you would call compatible with Vista. However, Cyberlink is moving in the right direction with Ultra 10 (this review is for Windows 7 only).
OK, first off there are only 3 Blu Ray media players on the market. 1) Cyberlink PowerDVD, 2) Corel WinDVD 2010, 3) Arcsoft TotalMedia Theater 3. All are available for download and all have trial periods. I can tell you right now not to bother wasting time with Corel's new implementation, its garbage and there's a reason its been on sale lately for as cheap as around $40, it just plain doesn't work. Arcsoft's player looks like its spec'd similarly to PDVD 10, but I haven't tried it. However, it is priced at around $90, about the same as Cyberlink's product so maybe you can tell a difference between the trial versions.
The first thing that impressed me about PowerDVD 10 Ultra, was that once I downloaded the fully licensed version, there was no 100Mb+ "patch" required to make the thing work. I mean it DID work right out of the box with Windows 7 but some features like 3D and the ability to add video files to a playlist were disabled. But the upconversion of regular DVD's to HD is the most impressive feature of this software. You can even split the screen to see the difference for yourself, its amazing, and works 5 times better than WinDVD. Also, its automatic. Or, if you want more control over playback you can switch to "hardware acceleration" using your video card settings but you'll soon forget about this feature, TruTheater is just that good.
PDVD 10 is allegedly compatible with most video formats, but I haven't found that to be the case. The only thing I can play since the upgrade are DVDs and Blu Rays, it wont play avi, divx, etc. although they claim to be compatible, I see a lot of complaints about this so I'm not the only one. It will play .VOB and MPEG2 files but crashes when you touch the controls. It also plays .MOV reliably but only from my iPhone, it wont play .MOV files you convert using Cyberlink's PowerDirector. Typical! DVD Audio is covered with a number of options for 2/4/6/8 speakers including Dolby Surround Downmix and TruTheater Surround. Other classic features like Slow Motion, Snapshot, Zoom 4x/9x make this the most versatile player on the market.
3D I cant speak too cause I don't have a 3D ready/HDCP compatible monitor so that feature is disabled in the player but I'm anxious to try that out. MaximumPC did an article recently on converting 2D video to 3D with a simple script change so I know its possible to convert normal DVD's to 3D, I just haven't seen it demonstrated. You will need a 3D monitor, compatible video card, and shutter glasses. After the latest update I can simulate this even though I don't have a compatible system but the player will produce a pseudo "3D" image, I just don't have any glasses so I don't know what it looks like.
Don't know if you're system is compatible with 3D, no problem. Just go to Cyberlink's website, click the Support link and download the BD Advisor, it will analyze your system and tell you exactly what you need to play 3D Blu Rays. There's also a forum worth checking out before you plunk down your hard earned cash for this feature.
Update 12/15/10 On the subject of "patches"..... there are a number of updates on the Cyberlink website that should improve performance and fix a few minor bugs, and as usual with Cyberlink it is a confusing process, and ALL these fixes are over 100Mb files. Autohiding the control panel during playback was my biggest issue, there's a fix for that. Most of the other patches are updates to incorporate optimization for video cards and 3D playback. After downloading all the updates, I can play AVI, MPG, MOV, VOB etc. files and create playlists without any problems.
Final thoughts: Lots of disinformation regarding this product in these reviews, take these comments on here with a grain of salt, most are hugely exaggerated if not outright laughable. One thing that is not blown out of context is the horrible customer service from Cyberlink, its nonexistent. One big plus though is the trial download and I strongly suggest you try it before you buy it, especially if you are upgrading a previous version. PDVD 10 is optimized for Windows 7, but check their website for System Requirements, I've posted the link in the comments section. Also check the Forums for discussion about typical problems. And if you're concerned about Ads, they go away with the paid version.

These 3D passive glasses work great for the VIZIO E3D420VX 42 Inch Class Theater 3D LCD HDTV with VIZIO Internet Apps. In fact, they work with any TV with theatre 3D glasses (passive glasses). These range in price from $4 and up. So cannot beat the price. After testing the product out successfully, I am going to buy another pair from the same seller.
I do not understand all the negative reviews. Do not give one star reviews when the glasses work as described. It is not the seller's fault you (the buyer) don't know that there are two different kinds of 3D glasses for Home 3D televisions. Active Shutter 3D glasses are much more expensive and they aren't any better.
