(More customer reviews)I bought this product to use with 2 PC's and one HDMI Monitor. Item works great. This switch box works without requiring an external power source. I tried 2 externally-powered KVM Switch Boxes prior to this one. Both previous KVM Switch Boxes did not work as there are known industry-wide issues regarding HDMI compatibility when using various models of HDMI Switchers. However, this model from IOGear worked perfectly. I bought a spare box for future use since this one works and with HDMI Switchers, it is literally a "trial and error" situation when searching for one that will switch between 2 HDMI devices into a common HDMI Monitor/Display.

Ultra High Performance HDMI Switcher, 3to1 Switch Review

(More customer reviews)I have to say this the no-name switch outperforms the pros. I needed to connect my ps3 (hdmi) and dish receiver (hdmi) to an hdtv which only had a dvi input (using an hdmi to dvi cable). I tried the sony str-dg720 receiver for hdmi switching, then the monoprice hdmi switcher. Neither worked (the sony manual says it doesn't play well with hdmi-dvi cables, so I was going out on a limb there).
Now this little baby on the other hand, comes with extremely poor written instructions (think google translation of a foreign language manual), so I connected it not even expecting it to work. But wonders! Not only does it switch flawlessly between the ps3 and the dish receiver (producing a perfect output), it even has a "priority" function which works perfectly.
Basically, the dish hdmi port always outputs a signal, even on standby, so I keep it on a lower priority input (port 2). I've connected the ps3 to port 1, so if I turn on the ps3 this switches automatically to the ps3. When the ps3 is powered off, it automatically switches back to the dish receiver.
It's great to find a product which actually performs as advertised. Kudos to the manufacturer and CE compass (the amazon seller I bought this product from). 100% worth the money.

(More customer reviews)Bought one of these 15' HDMI cables a couple of months ago, to connect a small laptop to a big screen LCD tv, to watch Hulu and other internet broadcasts. Perfect video and audio reception. Hookup couldn't be easier, just plug and play. A friend saw me watching bigscreen TV from a 13.3 inch laptop, and was so awestruck that I bought him one. Now he's a Hulu junkie, too. And the price is a fraction of the lowest price I've seen in a brick-and-mortar store. I can't help but giggle every time I see what the big box stores are getting for these!

(More customer reviews)I purchased this HDMI Auto Switch last month, and it works just perfectly. I connected my TiVo HD DVR and DVD recorder up to this switch and into my HD TV, so that both of my components could share a single HDMI connection, and it works like a charm. Anytime that I want to watch a DVD, I only power on the DVD recorder, and the switcher automatically switches from the TiVo DVR to the DVD recorder. When I power off the DVD recorder, the switcher automatically switches back to the DVR, just like the product description on this Amazon.com site states.
I HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone and everyone out there who have multiple devices with an HDMI connection. The great advantage to having this HDMI switcher is that the user does NOT have to physically get up and push any buttons on the switcher just to use one of their HDMI connected components like their DVD recorder, DVR, etc. This HDMI Auto Switch sure beats the heck out of other HDMI switchers that require the user to physically get up and PUSH the buttons on the switcher just to use a different HDMI connected device.
To all out there with multiple HDMI connected devices, this product is an AWESOME buy for YOU.

(More customer reviews)I got this cable about a week ago and have been very pleased with it. The quality of the picture is amazing! Much better than the Red, Green and Blue cords for HD.
I have used this cable to watch movies on my HD DVD player, and to play games in HD with my Xbox 360. This cord improved the graphics SO MUCH on my Xbox 360. I was tired of the blocked look that the picture had with the previously stated Red, Green and Blue cords.
The cord itself has a sleek look, too. The price? I couldn't believe how cheap this was! Some HDMI cables get up to $50! I was so happy with this product that I suggest it to anyone who isn't sure which HDMI cable to get. This cable works with everything: HD videos, 3-D videos ;) , HD video games, it even works as an Ethernet cable if you have the capable devices.
The HD capability goes all of the way from 720p to 1080p to 1440p, and even to the not yet out 2160p! Great product, glad I chose this cable over the others!
