(More customer reviews)I have a DirecTV HR20 receiver and a Samsung TV that had a 50 ft run I was trying to split off in another room from the main TV. I tried the regular HDMI splitter but could only get video but no sound. After doing some research I found out I needed an active splitter. The original one suggested to me ran around $150. I came across this unit and read through the helpful comments. This unit worked perfect with no quality loss. Unit is very small as well which enables you to put it behind the receiver and you don't even know it is there.

(More customer reviews)Audio and video goes to both tvs through the hdmi cables at the same time with no signal loss. Some of the reviews I read for other splitters said only the video was split and not the audio. A little pricey but works well.

(More customer reviews)Don't waste your money on this piece of junk!!!!!!!! This thing didn't work at all when i recieved it. I took it apart and did what i could do to get it to work some of the time. it's easier to just switch the fiber optic cables rather that try to get this piece of junk to work when you turn the switch. very sorry i wasted my $5 plus shipping on this very cheap piece of junk.

(More customer reviews)The HDMI switch does work well, however the power cable is so short that I needed an extension cord just to plug it into an outlet. Also, the remote control only functions within 3 inches of the switch itself, any farther away and the remote won't work. Making the remote pointless.
